After much thought, probably since last summer, I decided on how I wanted to make a journal to hold my Zentangle tiles. Since I didn't want to adhere them permanently, envelopes seemed the obvious way to go. at first I was just going to do pockets but then I saw a video where envelopes were connected. I've had these metallic jewel color envelopes for years and they're the perfect size for my tiles. This journal can be any size, just keep adding envelopes, and it will be two sided. For the MMJ (Messy, Mixed and Joyful), we were challenged to make a journal using scrapbook paper. I have also had this flocked embossed paper for years, no idea of the company. I computer generated the saying for the cover and then spelled out Zentangle with some metal letters I had from long ago. Using 'long ago purchased' products!!!!!!
This is also for today's IC. I was inspired to move on with this a bit more because of all the Zentangle and doodling books shown. There is another picture of page one of my in-progress journal. You can see the tiles bucked in. This page isn't finished.

I am not sure what tiles are Jean? ( are they like patterns you made up to use for Inspiration to do again?) this looks like a cool texture mix for the cover, I esp. love the ransom look to the letters.

Very cool, Jean. Sounds like a fabulous little book and I love how you did the word Zentangle. Love the concept that there are no mistakes - really makes you think about is that possibly true for other things as well....inspires me. Hugz
