Stacy is our hostess and she has a wonderful site for this week's Inspiration Challenge. I love books and I loved looking at all the covers, but I kept coming back to this one with the girl and stripes. I created my stripes and then colored my image. I knew I wanted and oval, but it took a while to decided how I wanted to do it. Finally cut it and attached it to the white card base. Stamped my image and decided it need more. So I die cut another oval and added stars. Attached my birthday girl and her balloon.

I can see clearly how this card was inspired from the book cover - it's fantastic! Love how you balanced the girl with the balloon, and made the sentiment the focal point!
