Hello again my fellow crafters. The first thing I want to say is Mary....lol....I dont like this combo. Lol I dread it every year. I dont know what it is but it makes me cringe when I look at it. Ok...Iâm better. I struggled big time with this one...sooooo...you win this one Mary <3
I waffled through this week pulling out stamp sets, paper, inks, dies, pencils, markers, paints and even started two different cards only to toss them away with some unmentionable verbiage lol. When I saw the mess I made I sat down and said to myself....Kari...you are a grown *** woman...are you really going to let COLORS take you down LOL. OMGOODNESS...they almost did lol. But ...I remember the dessert option and said...I donât have to do anything but find a Dps that has those colors on it...so that is exactly what I did. I didnât color, paint, pencil, smoosh, blend or ink anything and thatâs ok being my sanity was on the line lol.
There is one thing I really really need to share with you thou...the new Nuvo dream drops are LUSCIOUS. They are soooo pretty I just love them to pieces.
Well being that this was a pretty simple card Iâll just leave it right here lol..oh and Mary...thank you so much again for the challenge. I really mean it. <3

You found the perfect DP()which I think is beautiful) and made the most of it for this stunning card. The scalloped edging, double layered sentiment, bow and organza ribbon were all that were needed to complete it.

I'm surprised you found this Beautiful piece of dp with all these colors in it, Kari! It is so Amazing and I just love it! Someone will appreciate your thankfulness!
I want to say that I'm not "happy" you had such a fit with these colors, Kari, but it's nice to know that I wasn't the only one who didn't know just what to do with them. Good thing I had started my card early, because it took a long time before I actually figured out what stamp to use. Ok, now I feel better.

This is a pretty card Kari- so wonderful that you found this piece of designer paper to work with- we don’t use this color palette yearly early though- in fact I am pretty sure it’s not been used before

Thanks for sharing your struggle, self talk and your beautiful card, Kari. All your choices here are extremely artful, all complementing each other. Your scalloped border was the PERFECT choice and made hearts along the top edge! Your bow is also a heart, of sorts. Your muse is thanking you.

Ha, ha, ha! I read every word of your description and hate to say how much I relate to all you said. And, truth be told, I often search for designer paper that combines the colors. You hit a home run with this gorgeous succulent paper. I really do love it. Clever die cuts and luscious ribbon makes this a beautiful creation. Deep breath, you did it! Thanks for playing with us.
