I had actually run across today's technique months ago and used it in WCW012 (without the addition of the black circles) So fun to see it featured today and a stress free way for beginner's to delve into watercolor!
The trio of colors on my palette were lemon yellow, Peony & cerulean blue. I painted rough circles then tapped in bits of the other colors; spritzed with water tilting the card to let the rivulets run off the paper. Once all were dry, I decided to paint a swoosh of color across the bottom where I wanted my sentiment to go. Splattered all 3 colors across my painting which feels like confetti to me.
The video suggested stamping black circles around each "blob" of color. Well, I don't own ANY circle stamps and too much doodling is stressful for me too - then I remembered a never used (inherited) Circle Ruler and just doodled the dribbles. Stamped my FUN word 3 times and I think this will makes a great birthday card.

Great take on the challenge your second time. That is fun how you did it for one other challenge. It was fun. Yours reminds me of confetti and blowing bubbles. Like how you did the sentiment with the hot pink background. Laughed when you mentioned sheep for mine. I thought it looked like oversized golf balls. I will do this again, it was fun. Thanks again for joining us.

Love all the different colors in your circles, Linda, and how nice you had a circle ruler. Your swipe across the bottom for the sentiment truly is fun, fun, fun. Super birthday card and wonderful work on the challenge.

Love the color combination and confetti of splatters. Your watercolor application makes your look translucent, which gives the overall effects of a balloon so perfectly! Love your card and your sentiment swoosh idea!
