For today's sketch (thanks so much, Pat, for the easy but effective sketch); also for yesterday's MMTPT-I used sequins, succulent and stamp for S, paper, pink, and embossing POWDER for P, dye INKS and alcohol INK for I, night of navy for N. There is a teal-ish marker in the succulent. I love succulents, have quite a collection of the real thing.
I am also adding this to the color challenge, as that was my original intent but I think I veered a bit. I wanted to use alcohol markers for a change and even though I had some lighter purple markers, they were more pink. The lightest purple was really dark so I tried to tone it down. I added some merry merlot around the edges of the panel, die on top of the stamp is sponged with NON and the stamp itself is stamped in NON. I did use some decorative paper, the background piece is actually a fabric piece of paper I bought long ago at a very nice scrapbooking store that doesn't exist any longer. It is very subtle, has some shimmer and actually has some darker blue and pinky purple if you turn it certain ways.
Also slipped it in for V is for Vibrant!
