My heart goes out to today's Teapot recipient Trish and I hope this wine with friends card will not only cheer her but motivate her to spend as much time with friends and family as she can to take her mind off the diagnosis. Trish loves wine so I started by stamping the Wine labels in bottle green on parchment then tore around the edge and sponged with peeled paint - mounted on Teal cardstock and edged with lime green stickles. Stamped my AI gals, colored with primascolor pencils then covered the Wine glasses with Clear nail polish for some glass like shine. Another torn edge, this time sponged with black but when I put it against the bg it felt a bit lost so used black nuvo drops applied in a line to emphasize the edge. Computer generated my sentiment (inside says "Uncork, unwind and drink happy thoughts") Punched my sentiments in oval shapes , backed with burgundy DP and fussy cut a frame with decorative edged scissors.
My SPRING letters...
S = Stampendous, sponging, Stickles
P = Prismacolor Pencils, Punched oval
R = Red wine
I = Inks
N = Nail polish, Nuvo drops
G= Green hued bg

These AI Girlfrieds are always the best when you need a friend to cheer you up...or to say "cheers". Perfect image and sentiment for this week's challenge and your sentiment inside is fabulous. I'm a bit jealous that I didn't think of that one. I ADORE your wine label stamp. It might find it's way into my "shopping bag". Wonderful card for Trish.
These ladies are artfully colored, Linda - love how happy excited they look in their glam outfits! I also like the sponged torn edges - love the effect!

Sandstorms, you're having terrible luck with your weather these days! What a great image and an even better sentiment. There's a considerable degree of truth in it. I see Gewürztraminer on the background paper - possibly my favourite white dating back to when I cooked for a retired admiral and his wife, and that was our normal "house white".

Super cool image paired with that sentiment, and the background paper showing different wine varietals is a great way to frame it. Inside sentiment is so perfect that now I have to add it to my collection (if still available). Great card for Trish!!

Beautiful as well as cute! Love the wine theme with friends and your coloring/shading is spot on.The glitter on torn edges is extremely clever.
BG stamping on parchment is fantastic!
