Pat is our hostess for the Teapot Tuesday challenge this week. And Iâm sorry - until the links issue is fixed I am sitting firmly on my hands and not wasting time providing links in my write-up to challenges only to find they donât work two weeks later :-(. Itâs in the Teapot Tuesday forum.
I have a full house for Spring - and a Spring card, too. I have been wanting to use this daffodil, so I made it work for me.
S - stitched oval, Spring flower
P - photo corners, Penny Black stamp (O March)
R - ribbon, luster rub-ons from Craft-T
I - inked embossing folder
N - Nuvo drops
G - green
I unmounted the stamp so I could use it in my stamp positioner, and stamped it several times on watercolour paper using my old Marvy Markers. The base layer was embossed with Crafterâs Companion Brocade ef inked with Mowed Lawn DOX. The photo corners are the SU punch, and were embossed with the same embossing folder, then buffed with rub-ons. I added a little LOTV sentiment tag, some Polka-dotted ribbon, and Nuvo dots.

A very pretty spring card with that lovely daffodil and the great embossed background. I received my box of daffodil bulbs delivered this week ready to be planted out in April. They will make a nice display in September. Bit of a wait for spring here.

So many fabulous details on this lovely Spring card, Sabrina! Beautiful daffodil - I do love PB stamps - the embossing and ribbon look so pretty, and love the photo corners!

I love the textured background that features the daffodil so well, Sabrina! Congratulations with the full house on SPRING (I kinda cheated on mine with N ;)). I also really like those little drops of color, you used these accents effectively!

Pretty daffodil with that green ribbon on the stem, and I love how you placed the Nuvo drops around the frame. I have some of those and now have to get brave enough to use them - you’ve inspired me.
