No babysitting this week so it has given me the chance to play in today's challenges. The Colour Challenge colours - Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, Purple Posy - susbstituted with Pale Plum ink. Dessert is dp - not sure my homemade dp counts?!
The Teaparty Challenge today is for a Canadian lady, Trish We were asked to use at least 3 letters of the word 'Spring' to create our card -
S - Stamping, Songbird, Sponging, Stickles
P - Pale Plum, Pearl
I - Ink
N - Night of Navy C/S
G - Gumball Green for the leaves
I used a few SU stamp sets for the homemade dp bg and sponged in Pale Plum ink. Stamped the songbird and the script writing behind the bird. Sponged the bird and bg and added stickles to the bird's body and a black pearl for the eye. Die cut and finished card stamping the sentiment. IRL the bird has a nice sparkle.
TFL!
EDIT: I realised my songbird's feet are missing!! I have added the feet onto the card now!

Your dp is a Beauty, Sue, and even though it's a small amount on your card, I noticed it right away! Your songbird is lovely; nice use of these colors~

Of course homemade dp works! Enjoying your time off, I'm sure, and what fun to spend it making cards. Love it, Sue!
