When I saw this week's Ways to Use It challenge, I knew I wanted to pull out this old MFT set that has several bold, vertical sentiments. I chose this one as I needed a card for my niece's college graduation this Spring.
Stamped paint swoosh (Essentials by Ellen) in a variety of Hero Arts soft and mid-tone colors, using my MISTI to help line things up.
Used MFT In&Out Stitched Rectangles die to cut opening in Bazzill panel as well as to cut out my focal panel. Cut an extra rectangle from a thin layering card stock. The Bazzill panel is slightly smaller than my A2 card base.
Stamped and embossed the sentiment in Onyx Black Versafine.
Adhered a piece of thin layering card stock under the Bazill panel, then inlaid my extra rectangle. Adhered my focal panel atop the inlaid piece, giving my focal the slightest bit of dimension.
Easy peasy, but I love how it turned out with all the bright color and the bold sentiment.
TFL.
