Congrats to our featured stamper a real ARTIST Layersofink Anna-Karin, I loved to visit her gallery and when we read her step by steps she makes it look so easy, I've hesitated between 3 cards to tag and finally came back again and again to these pretty tags: Watercolor Flowers on Book Paper by Layersofink at Splitcoaststampers
I've kept the idea of water coloring on a book page, but changed the tag into a card, gave it a coat of gesso added a torn book page, stamped with onyx black the cone flowers with the masking technique, clear embossed them, water colored with DOX, mixed spiced marmelade and salty ocean to get green, used distress walnut stain to water color the gesso side and distressed the edges and used walnut stain to ink them, added white posca marker details, and some splatters, tied a twine around and mounted this onto the mint green linen base with foam tape and stamped the birthday sentiment with onyx black

Wow! I love this! I have never been able to successfully create with book paper. What a beautiful example of how to create an aged look with book paper! Your flowers are lovely!

Fab case, Anita. I like that you made a card using her tags for inspiration. Your flowers are beautiful and this makes a special birthday card! Hugz

What a wonderful interpretation of Anna Karin's tags. This is beautifully designed and outstanding in every way, Anita. I love that it's simple, yet complex. Fav'd.

How beautiful! I love the tag turned into a card, and the look of distressing is wonderful! (And I would be happy to have you as a neighbor!!)
