Finally getting to this TCL837 challenge from earlier this week. My 1st attempt didn't really pan out - a lot of smudging when I scrapped the ink pad over the embossed area. I decided to go with a 3D EF that was more densely textured. Sponged the main panel with a series of yellows and orange colors from SU and hero arts. Sprayed with shimmering bliss. Embossed with 3D tropical leaf EF and used SU old olive ink across the embossing. Cut with SU curvy edge die. Cut back panel to match. Added some linen twine and mounted on old SU DSP. Embossed sentiment from sizzix sentiment framelit set. Added a few butterflies. TFL

Yes, I definitely felt that in the video, it was because it was so finely detailed a folder with very little open space that she got such a good result - and trimmed off the open space along the edge which did get ink on it. The curved edge looks really good.
