Combined my WCW roses with today's WT....all about sentiments. No stamps used except a sentiment. I named my card after an old song. I had done two paintings of the roses, didn't like the first because I really botched the leaves but the roses were ok. So I cut out one and layered it. I need more practice for sure. Going slowly is hard for me, I treat the paint brush like it's a magic wand. My practice leaves looked a whole lot better than these skinny ones. Roses don't have skinny leaves!!!!!!

Jean, your roses look Amazing, every single one of them! I agree with you on going too slow. I find it hard to paint quickly when I'm uncertain at what I'm doing. You did a Fantastic job though~

Wonderful roses you painted. You know, I do think the artists doing the videos do have a magic wand. I want one like theirs. Ha So glad you joined us with this very pretty creation.

Your nailed the technique to make the roses, and your original card is very eye appealing. The saved raised rose looks great on your card. Glad you joined us this week, and hope you use this technique again.

When I looked at this, I KNEW you had used stamps for the flowers - and then I read that you WC those images!!!! Just WOW! Love the design/layout and your WC roses are beautiful (even with the skinny leaves!)

Ah, but who says they have to be rose leaves, you could pair other foliage with your beautiful roses which remind me of the moss roses my grandmother grew. The popped-up one is very effective. It's a fabulous CAS design. I really like that style of sentiment.
