Cathy's "Sentimental" challenge today was perfect for another retirement card for my fellow actuary who is retiring at the end of the month. I've been searching online for ideas for retirement cards for him, and found this that could stand on its own for today's challenge. I added "nine actuarial exams" and "millions of numbers" to make it fit better on the card. For the background, I grabbed a background out of my drawer that was just some acrylic paint swiped across the paper. Then I stamped some numbers all over the page. You can't see them, but they are all meaningful. 22 because he's been with the company for 22 years, 57 because he's 57, the year 2021, 9 for the number of actuarial exams, and 155 because trust me 155 is a number that is burned into our brains. Then I went looking for a stencil with a geometric pattern to please our math brains, and came up with this one covered with triangles, and used my PFS Paper Glaze because I love it.

Great retirement card and sentiment. Love the way you personalized both the text and the bg. Fun bg too. Did you calculate the probability of his loving this card?
Fantastic retirement card! The background is beautiful, but the personalised sentiment is worthy of covering it. I like how you matched the font colours to the background.
