I'm ridiculously happy with how this turned out. I wasn't able to find the same supplies used in the tutorial, so I made my box base out of a Cheerios box (I'll have photos on my blog in the morning). I had my son help me cut the craft sticks down to size (3 at 6" and then 6 at 3"). I glued them to 3 sides, and then filled in the corners with modeling paste. When that was dry I painted the "books" and then added a little dry brushing on the sides to look like pages. The fru-fru on top is just a little of this and that that I had laying around.
