Hello! Welcome to this weekâs Color Challenge. Chris is hosting and she chose Cinnamon Cider, Soft Seafoam, and Mossy Meadow as our beautiful color trio. Any shade of pink is the dessert option.
The first thing I did was to create the background using a Tim Holtz wood mounted red rubber stamp on white cardstock. This stamp creates a woodgrain background with some white showing. I used the same ink that I stamped with and an ink blending brush to blend ink over the white so it would look more realistic.
The floral images are from the âYouâre So Lovelyâ stamp and coordinating die set from Hero Arts. How perfect it was for âany shade of pinkâ to be the dessert option. I couldnât resist using pink for the flowers.
The greeting on my card has a lot of sentimental value to me. It is from a 1998 Stampinâ Up stamp set that Iâve had for many, many years. A lot of my older wood mounted stamps are stored in boxes high up on a shelf. I found this one and thought Iâd use it on todayâs card.
Thanks for looking!
