I loved her window card with the relaxing beach scene and the cute frame. I thought about some panels that I stamped but didn't like everything on them. Since I tend to save things for later, I had them in my file waiting to be used. Kim's card gave me the idea to die-cut a "window" to view a portion of the scene. I was able to cut a long and narrow rectangle opening with partial die-cutting at the top, and then realign the die to finish the cutting at the bottom. Sounds complicated but it is a great way to get custom sizes from your dies!
Changes: kept the outdoor scene but changed to mountains instead of beach, changed sentiment and used a banner, different stamps & colors, used rectangle opening on card front only. Glad to have used one of my previously stamped pieces and discover a creative way to use them.
Thanks Kim for sharing your wonderful cards with us and for inspiring mine today!

I don't know what you didn't like about the scene, because this panel looks great. I love this scenery since I'm more a mountain lake girl than a beach girl. Great colors too. I've seen others do that die trick to extend their dies. I have to say yours looks flawless. The stitching on the sides are perfectly spaced. Brava! Beautiful CASE of Kim's card.

Diane, this is a great case of Kim's card. I love your water/mountain landscape panel. The blue frame and green card base is the perfect combination to highlight your beautiful scene.

Great CASE! Always smart to hang onto “fail” pieces (I have used so many) because they frequently become ideal. This was a terrific - turned into a fabulous window scene!
