Hello and TFL, Here is my 'nature of the tribe' card for Cheryl's encouragement. Teapot Challenge MMTPT654
First I cut my pink base cardstock with an extra 1/2" so that i could score at 1/2" and fold up for a tuck spot.
I wet and tore the Rice Paper flower image and a piece of a Psalms vintage bible page, glued down a partial area with a glue stick and then ran thru the sewing machine.
I added a thin strip of some of my recent coffee stained paper and layered it inside the flap, glued down the SIDE edges and it became a pocket. folded up the pink edge and glued that to the coffee stained piece, along the top edge of the pink paper.
took another type of paper i stained and punched out 2 of the large tag dies and glued together to make it stronger, and stamped the sentiment. Used S U linen thread and a needle to make a French Knot.
of course, to finish with vintage style to go with the torn and sewing... I added some BBSugar ink sponging around the edges.
I hope you enjoy this and think good thoughts and prayers for Cheryl, aka CherylQuilts, to heal and have strength along this journey, daily.
Hugs, Teresa

Oh Teresa, this is GORGEOUS. All those extra details -- the bible page, the stitching, the fold at the bottom, the french knot, the partial tag -- add such richness to this card. But that gorgeous flower is definitely center stage. What a wonderful card for Cheryl to receive. It is sure to lift her spirits. Well done!
