I have a whole drawer full of balloons left over from my singing telegram business. I wore a tuxedo for almost 30 years doing those gigs. I have used Marilynn's latex balloon technique for adding color before, but never on Mylar balloons. I first recycled a the large patterned heart from a Mylar balloon. Using a gel plate and a couple drops of Colorique paint, I used the latex balloon to pounce into the paint and onto the white areas of the Mylar balloon. I backed the hearts with a sticker label before die cutting for strength & stability I ran the large hearts though the embossing machine. The texture on the little heart was as is from rubbing onto the label. I fussy cut the embossed cat & sentiment, popped on a couple of die cut music notes and added a little diamond bling on Felix's cane. I think this will be Hubby's birthday card and say, "Never forget the good old days".

Ah.....singing telegrams...neighbor across the street did Gorilla Grams. I think women look very classy in a tux. And you used a balloon too. Just excellent!!!
