I combined yesterday's WT (stencils) with today's MIX and this week's MMJ (wax).
I forgot about the need for a balloon and truthfully, I have never liked them, they're bad for the environment and I didn't want to buy a whole bag. Just a weird idiosyncrasy of mine. Think, think, think. I used a plastic bag, blew air into it and tried to keep the air in, no easy task. Of course I didn't get the round blobs that a balloon would create but it did keep the colors separated somewhat. I used some very flat paint, some metallic and some glitter. I got on a roll and made a bunch of gel prints...you know, you've got just a little extra paint and you hate to waste it.
I stenciled with this set of three pastes that creates rust/camo. There is some gritty stuff in it. For the MMJ, I rubbed some metallic wax on the edges. I have another wax project going so I'll be back with another. This all felt pretty weird so I used a fun sentiment.

An experiment gone very well, indeed. Love your innovation of substitution and am right there with you about not wasting a drop of paint. Will have to send you a few latex balloons (they're biodegradable) one of these days.
