I watched a video the other day where the crafter used white poster board to create an alcohol ink background. I decided to step it up and use AI to stencil on the poster board. The stenciled panel didn't turn out like I thought it would so I trashed it. Within a few minutes I pulled it from the trash and created the "double stenciled" card! Needed a sentiment so I went to my bag of quip quotes and the first one I pulled out was "salvaged!" Perfect sentiment for this "salvaged" from the trash panel!

I luv your back story! I rarely get to save anything from the trash because I tear it up - I guess I need to rethink that. So pretty how the design shows through the green - great save!

Gosh, I'd have thought the ink would just absorb straight into the board - kudos to you for trying it and salvaging it it. Love the pop of colour from the butterfly.

This is so gorgeous, Vickie! I love the way you managed to salvage the beautiful AI background. That butterfly just pops against your background panel!

Sometimes our creations come together in such unusual ways, and that sentiment was a perfect find! I really like the way you went with a plan B for this card. It turned our really pretty!!
