I started this card base with sponging red on the top portion of the card. I then used an alphabet stencil and blue paper glaze to add the letters.
Next I stamped the sentiment, die cut the numbers and mortar and popped on dimensionals.
I finished with a piece or red ribbon on the sentiment banner.
I am kicking it in to high gear for the class of 2021 graduates. If you know anyone graduating in 2021, please consider brightening their day with a card. Seniors are really having a hard time this year because they have lost out on so much. My son's school has already cancelled prom and they did not have one last year. So if you have it in your heart consider brightening their day to let them know you care even if it is just a card.
Thank you for stopping by for a look at my card. I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards. Thank you for looking!

I'm very sad for all graduates. I'm sure most people have not thought about the losses for this year's graduates. I don't think I know anyone graduating, except from college. Love the dimension that glaze makes. Is it from Picket Fence? Thanks for the challenge.

WOW!!!! This is an amazing card Lisa!!! I love the little details, like the ribbon on the diploma, and the two toned hat. Your letters are awesome!!

Your background is so fun! This is gorgeous! I really like the ribbon around the diploma. I am soooo sorry about your son's festivities being canceled. It's so very sad all of the things that have been canceled. Students have missed out. Sending a card to our friends of any age seems to be more important than ever. A friend of mine who has recovered from covid is really struggling right now emotionally. She sent me two pics of all of the cards I have sent her over the years that she put on a shelf to cheer herself last night. I didn't even know I had given her so many. We really CAN cheer others with our paper hugs! Thanks for the great challenge and the encouragement in your card description to reach out to others!

Love the shiny look of the paper glaze on your red sponging, Lisa! I’ve not used paper glaze yet...but I like the look. What a wonderful graduation card. So sorry those seniors have had to miss out on so many opportunities.
