For this week's Teapotters adventure, Jen challenged us with a Bingo card: I chose large image, texture and the number 108, and threw in flowers there, too!
We are helping celebrate the 108th birthday of Louise, and just thinking of what she had witnessed and experienced during her lifetime is mind-boggling: from travelling by bike/horse & buggy/trains to cars & planes; from getting news via a newspaper, then tv, then live-streamed on the cell phone; even to how food is prepared and cooked (let me not get started there, I could go on and on, ). Louise is very blessed, indeed! I am glad Rita (Stamping Servant) is giving us the chance to help celebrate this remarkable lady's birthday! Thank you, Rita and thank you for the challenge, Jen!

I love how you added the flowers to the numbers . The bright colored bg will certainly catch her eye...it’s great. And yes, it’s amazing to think of all she has seen in her lifetime.

Love the flower embellishments on those huge numbers. This should be perfect for Louise. The color combo is wonderful and cheery and that dp is so sweet. Love this! I'm sure Louise will too.

Smiling, I think the leafy flourishes twining round the numbers are so pretty. And I enjoyed your write-up. I used to feel the same reading Laura Ingalls Wilders later books and writings, the changes she saw through her lifetime too.

Yes, it is amazing to just think of all that Louise has witnessed during her lifetime. And she remains so sweet, mentally alert and bright and is just the loveliest person to talk with. To top it off, she is physically attractive .... wish I knew her beauty secrets! I love your idea of twining the flowers through the large numbers on Louise's card! Thank you for creating such a lovely personalized card for Louise!

Front and center, Gem, this is a happy card! Your choice of Springy colors herald the season and the birthday. The scale of your elements is a perfect balance.
