In the past 10 days, there have been 5 deaths of people connected to people I know well enough to send a card to. Considering all the money I have spent on SU stamps in the past few years, one would think there would be a decent sympathy stamp somewhere in the bunch. But no, I had to resort to a very old wood mount stamp. It did not stamo very clearly, so I removed it from the wood, and use the stamparatus in order to get a good stamping. The card sketch is one I saw on Lynn Dunn's you-tube video, and I like it so much that I have used it on 13 cards so far. It's a great way to use up 2 inch strips of patterned paper.

Lovely sympathy card, Ina. Those papers are beautiful together with your wonderful embossed texture. Love the sentiment label shape for that old but elegant stamp!
