Couldn't draw a daffodil for toffee so had to find an idiots guide to follow. Thought painting them once they were drawn wouldn't be too hard but failed to get good variation of yellow in the petals. Happyish with the end result though so made it into a card which I will send for Easter.

I agree that this challenge was truly a challenge! But you met the challenge and have a beautiful result. You can understand why I decided to go with one larger blossom as I knew I needed a larger image to do it justice. I really like your deep green background too.

Like your humor. I found them difficult too. You really did a terrific job on the sketching and painting. Your backgrounds makes them pop and glow. Happy you came and played with your spring flowers. TFS

Janine, this turned out beautifully! I love your wonderful background! You did such a good job with not letting the green overtake the petals. I lost some petal space with my green the first time I tried. I love how your flowers are reaching toward the sky. I like how well-defined the flower trumpets are!
