I don't know what to say really, except it was fun and frustrating... This new to me technique made a mess of everything, my desk, fingers, and floor...
I like how the bg came out, it's a bit artsy and the copper shine is actually beautiful. But it was hard to make a card from it. I tried and tried again with different approaches but finally ended up tossing random old decorations on it, using this week's sketch from Tuesday morning sketches. Learnt a lot!

I think it looks lovely, but after reading your story, I can imagine that it was heard to get much paint lifted! The burlap flower and little white stars look lovely. I had my doubts about the technique as some acrylic ones are total fails for me...in which case I usually end up die-cutting or punching it. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this one came out.
