I was keen to try Anna-Karin's Embossed Vellum tutorial from the Inkling yesterday. Turns out I don't really have many suitable background stamps. I made two cards - in this one, my spaces are quite large. Hard to see in the photo, but most of them have texture added with the stylus after the overall embossing.
This one also let me use the Fluffles stamp that was my first thought for the WT833 That'll Be The Day - for Bugs challenge.
Fluffles coloured with Polychromos and layered on a lacy circle. To add the vellum to the base I stitched it down, and then edged the panel with gelatos. As birthday cards are always handy, I added a sentiment cut from gold glitter card.

I've been intrigued by this technique so thought I'd check out the gallery. It surely creates some pretty effects. I don't have a stylus so not sure what I could use to create the dry embossing. Very pretty though.
