This is my third try on this challenge. Finally used a digi and watercolored. Using a digi the paper has to go through the printer, so I used a cheaper paper. You really have to limit how wet you can get it. The background is quite dark so it took a number of layers of paint to get the right color. Hope you can join us and create some spring flowers. TFL

Typically I don't look at the gallery before I do my own card but glad I did today. It actually surprised me that you used a digi today as I always think your "from scratch" paintings are lovely. This is a super image and the bit of whimsy from the snail can't be beat. Beautifully painted with pretty, natural looking shadows on the petals.
