At first I felt a little stumped about this tickle......red isn't a go to color for me, except at Christmas. Even Valentine's Day doesn't push me to use a lot of red. But then I remembered I had just bought the HA phoenix die. I love Harry Potter and I love Fawkes. I sprayed him with two reddish inks and embossed his wings and tail with gold. The background is alcohol ink, a combo of white, crimson, poppy field, gold and blending solution. Added some micro beads, a little foiling and a sentiment

What presence! Your background is stunning!!! The Phoenix took the added red hues beautifully. The micro mix of beads is perfect. Let’s see, did I say your bg is stunning, yet?

This is gorgeous! I love it. I'm like you -- I don't usually go to red as my first color choice, so when it's a red challenge, my go-to idea is flowers. I so love that you thought of using Fawkes.

Fantastic background. I totally love the way the microbeads look as if they were caught in the rims of each circle, it adds amazing depth to the card. And your phoenix is a wonderful pairing with it. Hmm, trying to remember the E Nesbitt book I had about a phoenix as a child. I'd forgotten Fawkes.
