The MMTPT hostess today is Gracie, and she has chosen - RED - as the challenge today. I fancied using a paper today and here it is! I punched the corners before securing to the card front. Oddly, I don't have any oval dies, so cut out an oval with my Cricut Design Studio, and die cut the decorative oval frame from the 'waste' - I can pop the oval into my spares box. Die cut 3 butterflies, secured to the card front and added a gem to each.
I wonder where this will be heading ....

The pretty punched corners are great with that decorative frame.
Ovals are odd - they're probably the first nesting dies I bought because I had a compass cutter that did circles, but I always find them tricky to layer up. I don't think you're missing anything by not having any, especially when the Cricut can come to your rescue. That rich paper is fantastic - makes me think of William Morris prints.
