Frosty Felted Snowguy
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Debbie Do

Christmas 2020 has passed and we're well on our way toward spring, but with temps dipping into the negative some days here in Colorado, winter is still very much with us. I had the cutest little snowman napkins in my stash and thought they'd be perfect for the "Felted Cardstock" technique.

I originally had in mind to try as it packs a powerful punch. I did a sample and the full-coverage glitter overpowered the cute little image, whereas just a touch of well-placed glitter here and there added to the frosty look.

While these cards were a bit labor-intensive (I made six of them), it was a labor of love for family members. Even though they required several steps, I might still classify them as CAS given the simplicity of the finished product. Will definitely be using the Felted Cardstock technique again.

My computer-generated sentiment: "This frosty little snowguy, cute as he can be, brings warmest winter wishes to you, from me."

THE BAD NEWS: The USPS charged me $4.30 EACH to mail them! Given all the work I put into them, I packaged them well by inserting into their square envie, wrapping in a small sheet of tiny-bubble wrap, and inserting into a small clasp envelope, folder over and taped.

FABULOUS card...darling snowman napkin! Love your glittery touches...I love sparkles, glitter, etc.! Your white framing sets your snowman picture perfectly!
