I had to you know watch the first two videos before I watched the third because, that is how my brain works, if you give it a number I hardly ever skip ahead.. So, that was yesterday and these were done sometime this morning after a gap of a few hours, these are you know just what I did. I did not toss either one, the one on the right was the first and I decided to give that sky some wadded up paper towel lifting clouds. the one on the left was second and I think I got more of the orange to stay at the top of the sky on that one. I decided to try round brushes I had by the numbers for these. and seriously the ones I like the best are the black velvet brushes but, I did not have the same numbers so, in the ones I had with size 6 & 12 & 2, nope I could not get a skinny straight lines for the trees at all ( so, I do see more better brushes with real tips in my future sooner or later) The colors also look odd to me. seems to me the ones I see around here have more of a grey/purples tones but, I did try to do the turquoise /orange mix for mine here. In case its hard to read the sentiment on the left one goes " there's no time to be bored in a world as beautiful as this." I did do the sentiments in the Misti so I could do three layers of ink and I had that whole no patience thing going on so, I probably un-taped them from the mat board I painted them on too soon as they are a little warped. (and I did use a heat gun to dry layers) Thanks for this challenge Angie, & tfl.

Your sky came out beautiful, Stacy, but so did your mountain ranges! Lovely shades of blue/green and yellow/orange, and isn't it fun how no two paintings will come out alike~

Oh! Stacy so glad to see you did the challenge. They both are wonderful. Like how you did the sky with the take away with the paper toweling. Watercoloring to me is a learning experience every time I do it. Hope you continue to join the challenges and learn with all of us. Yes, those sentiments say a lot. Fav'd

Stacy, Your skies and mountain ranges on both cards are beautifully done. Personally, I like your sentiment placement on the righthand one....seems to balance the pines so nicely. Well done!!

A great job on both of these Stacy, they are each well done. I love the sentiment on the right, that says it all to me. Great job and so great to see you here.

You ended up with 2 very pretty scenes, Stacy, though I am more partial to the fiery sky on the left. Two thought provoking sentiments that take us back to a kinder, gentler time.

Stacy, you made such beautiful scenes. The colors are fabulous on the sky and mountains. I always have paper towels with me when I am watercoloring as I may need/want to lift color. Wonderful sentiments.
So glad you joined us this week. Hope to see you playing every week.
