Last night, as I was contemplating the VSN theme, I felt a very strong urge to Zentangle and by the time I was done feeling that urge, I decided to Zentangle all three of the challenges. The doodlebug hit and wouldn't let go!!!! I haven't Zentangled in a while because I usually do that with a couple of friends and we haven't met for a while. It's more fun with friends. Thanks to the team for making VSN happen!
I already had the background (love my stash!) so I sketched my butterfly, silhouette style, using a variety of pens: gray, black, white, silver, pink gel. My background is a combo of metallic and matte acrylic. This is also for today's IC and this is what I chose: https://www.pinterest.de/pin/300333868905729769/
I thought the mosaic was beyond gorgeous. Stacy, this decorator really knows what she's doing...I'm guessing you have to be pretty wealthy to afford her. It was good that she wasn't just using gray, white and taupe. Her deeper colors are so rich.

Jean, your zentangled butterfly is incredible! Great way to add interest to a favorite creature! Love the fun embellishments too!
