This is my card for the Inspiration challenge today. My inspiration piece can be found here. Inked the embossing folder with oxide ink, spritzed with water and ran through my Gemini Jr., then added blue watercolour. Stamped the Penny Black image and water coloured with Daniel Smith and Winsor Newton watercolours. Styled and fussy cut to add to card front. Added splatters of white watercolour and perfect pearls. Stamped the sentiment in VersaFine Clair ink attaching with foam tape. Added a scattering of sequins to finish.
I have more details, pictures and links on my blog found here.

Beautiful, beautiful background; one of these days, I'm gonna try that technique! It sets the stage for that perfectly styled flower, love the spatters of paint on it, too!

Kia, this card is truly glorious!!! First, that flower is made even more beautiful in detail because you fussy-cut it and we don't see the white area around it. How I wish that our dies would do this for us!!! That's a lot of work!!! That color of the petals is soooo beautiful!!! I am in love with how you have used that Sizzix 3D EF in leaves with the ink and that you've used just a touch of blue ink, it really pulls in the color of the petals. That tiny tag floating by the stem with the string is cut so well, amazing!!! Your spatters add so much to this card. Your work is EXCEPTIONAL, really exceptional!!! What a joy to see!!! I have favorited this, plus it's my favorite of what's in the gallery right now.
Always so glad to see your artwork when I come onto the SCS gallery!!!
