I was going for a 1970's vibe for Anita's dear Aunt & Uncle. I went through my stash and saw this fun, red, blue & purple gel print. I stamped the bells and embossed in gold glitter EP. I used Inktense pencils and water in the confetti and on the bow. Also embossed the sentiment. Added a couple of border EF and highlighted them with yellow pencil. Popped on the # stickers, rounded the corners and gave a thin purple CS border before mounting on white.

I love your sparkling wedding bells and the happy colorful bg, I remember their wedding, my mother made my hair curly and I didn't like that...I wore a yellow dress with a big bloom on the front. Your background evokes confetti, music party; this is perfect!!

Your card is a party unto itself! This is amazing...50 years is certainly a cause for a big celebration! I love how you have the more traditional gold bells amidst the color and texture. Fab card!!

The background is absolutely fabulous and I really like the embossed borders. I think it's cool that you went back to their wedding era. It's too easy to think of older people as old and forget that they were young in whatever decade it happens to be.

What a fun card - love the eclectic bg and the bits of embossing top & bottom for an extra punch. Super looking pair of golden wedding bells with that scroll of ribbon wrapping through them.

I, too, love that you reached back to the 70's and your stash to create this card. The embossed bells look wonderful against your bg. And I adore the dry embossed edgings. What a happy and celebratory card for Franz and Maria. Sure to make them smile and reminiscent about the happy day.
