If you have the opportunity- PLEASE- get your COVID-19 vaccination. So many areas are struggling to get an adequate supply and so many are vulnerable. It breaks my heart when I am logging on to find an appointment for my 87 year old mother and everything in our city is booked, while other towns in the rural areas in our state and others go unbooked for days. Please don't be anti-vax, do your part and Get Yours as soon as you can!
Thanks for a fun sketch, Pat.

You have colored that nurse so well, her expression is priceless! I love the texture you have used from the two embossing folders behind, especially the red layer, so effective!!!
I understand your frustration, and I am hoping and praying for your Mom that she will very soon be able to have her first (at least here most vaccine companies are using vaccines that require 2 shots given within a few weeks of each other, not sure how it is in your Mom's area) shot VERY soon and the second one right on schedule, and that she will have a very easy time with them. It's such a stressful time especially for those of us with loved ones who are older, as they are particularly vulnerable. I will keep praying for your Mom's health and safety in my prayers, Sonja.
This is precious, especially as your love for your Mom shines through most of all.
Blessings and best wishes to you and to your dear Mom, Sonja,

Fabulous card, Dr. Sonja! Was able to score a slot for my 92 year old dad last week. This week's clinic was canceled due to icy road conditions. I will be up early next week trying again to get a slot for my 92 year old mother!

So clever and such fun! DH and I got our first shot last Wednesday, and I have felt icky ever since. Someone told me to take Vitamin C for the next one.

I got mine!!!!!! Not without some frustration and angst. We have several major health systems here, one seems to be doing fairly nicely, the one I'm in, not so much. I do not understand why there is not some kind of central scheduling portal and why we have to search. I only got an appointment because a friend had been stalking the Walgreen's website and message me that there were appointments. I had to drive a half hour this past Saturday, in snow and ice. Yes, I'm willing to die getting this vaccine. The 95 year old father of a friend got a letter from his and my health system, telling him to download an app. Uhhhh right, come on, people!!!!!!! The health dept of the county I live in is starting to have appointments but it's very hit and miss. One has to be computer savvy to know how to make this work. This all makes me angry. I was fine after my first, not even a sore arm. I'm sorry this is so hard for you and your mom. I'm glad my mother doesn't have to live through this.
On to your card.....she looks like Nurse Frankenstein but I'm sure she's a very caring nurse. Hah.

so cute! I will say a prayer that your Mom gets the shot asap.
Here in Florida it is quite the shoddy patchwork of organization regarding vaccine distribution and of course innoculations.
Our governor is not handling the whole scenario very well.
My siblings who live in various places around the US have received theirs. I plan on getting mine once they open it up for underlying conditions, and fortunately my dr sent a script for an EPI pen as I am allergic to so many meds. So eventually I will get it.
