Here is my MMJ piece for my own Challenge, Journaling with Scrapbook pages. After watching the videos I went BLANK lol......thinking ah well shes done it all, meaning Amber K. But I thought Ill just make a start and pulled out a bunch of scrap papers from my VERY full drawer. Then I wanted a background so I got greens and blues and smooshed them together and let it dry overnight. I wanted some slight texturing so I used my Dot Fade stencil and molding paste and let dry. I thought bunnies might be fun so I started tearing the paper into various size circles, The one on the left started out huge. I decided to put them in a garden setting so made tree shapes and cut out flowers. All the pieces I daubed the edges with Peacock Feathers ink so they would blend to the BG. Started laying out all the pieces and cutting them down to make the scene, re-daubing the edges where needed. Pasted it all down with Modge Podge, I was quite happy with it but wanted to give it an arty edge, so out came the splatter brush and black acrylic paint. I thinned it and closed my eyes and went splat. Big mistake. I quickly tried to wipe it off but ended up with black swirls. It went from Bunnies in a Dream Garden to Bunnies in a whirlwind. My only recourse was to get some white ink and go over the black swirls. I then renamed it Bunnies in a Breeze. Hope you all get time to play with this idea. I always learn something from jumping in.
