The Inspiration site has so many pretty pictures & although I KNOW I could never have that much white in my house (too klutzy), it sure is beautiful.I was inspired mostly by THIS picture, but instead of blue, I went w/ green because it's my fave color.
My card is pretty easy..I took a large paint chip, cut it apart to remove the white lines, then put it back together. Paint chips tend to go hand in hand w/ moving. Even in a new home, people tend to want to paint the walls a color they love. The neighborhood die was cut out of white & attached on top. I already had the card front w/ the large window cut out, so it worked out perfectly. I stamped the key onto white & used a green Copic to color the oval. For the key, I colored around the edges w/ a silver gel pen then used a water brush to drag the color into the key. If you use water on most gel pen inks, it will act like a water color & move. It was fussy cut & added on top.
Thanks so much for looking. I'll have it up on my blog tomorrow.

Cutting apart the paint chip to remove the white lines then putting them back together is very clever, Julie! I love how you used it as a backdrop to that fantastic house die-cut!

I wish I could have seen this card when I was trying to think of a design for a just moved card a couple of months ago. I still might have to case it because I ended up not sending one! I love the clean, crisp design..so classy. Your design skills are incredible, Julia.
