Funny that today's challenge is all about luck, because I had some pretty bad luck yesterday morning. We woke up to find we had no water in our pipes, but plenty of it gushing out of our front yard and flowing down the street. I called the police dispatcher at 5:45 and she called Keven from the water department, who got out of bed and came to our house in the dark to dig in the snowy ground and find the leak. I knew right then and there what my card needed to me this morning. So here is my card with lots of water flowing and a snowflake charm to represent the cold and snow. What luck that I had this snowflake charm for Dawn's lucky charm challenge. I just pulled it off of a store bought Christmas card a couple of days ago. The other good news is that a crew came over and dug up my yard and fixed the leak quickly enough that I had water by lunch time.
Those crashing waves are beautifully colored, Jen! I also like the upcycled snowflake charm - the colors match perfectly! These "emergencies in life" do remind us just how lucky we are.

Yikes....So glad Kevin and the crew came to your rescue. Great card. Beautiful colors. And a lucky snowflake to boot! I love how you turned your bad situation in a beautiful card. High five.
