The WT challenge takes us back to our first stamps. I loved this stamp but never really knew what to do with it! Created alcohol in bg, and stamped the image with Stazon. Cut the 2 panels and matted with black. Used computer generated words. Added a ribbon strip and tie, and matching gems.
Thanks for looking today x

I adore that background Sandie! I have alcohol inks and the paper and yet have never tried them out. (I think I may never stop once I start playing with them.). Your background here really sets off the image making for a very pretty stamped “collage.”

I love this image and I am pretty sure I still have it somewhere on my shelf! LOVE your gorgeous alcohol ink background and fabulous card design, Sandie! Wonderful job taking an old stamp and using it with new products and technique!

I find collage stamps rather daunting too, which is strange as I like making my own. I guess I make them as a background rather than a feature. YouTube certainly made a very classy and elegant card with it. Not the first Inkadinkado I've seen mentioned, either!

Wow, today's color techniques with the alcohol and distress oxide inks, this stamp was just before its' time. Finally, the techniques caught up with the beauty of this stamp. I remember loving collage types of stamps, but coloring in the images just didn't really seem to do anything for it. But WOW, this is perfect with the technique you used today. I love the art of so many of the older stamps.
