This was a fun sketch and fold. We are getting a double dare the second Wednesday of each month from Sonja. I like this fold and although I didn't have time yesterday to get a sample ready, did find some time this afternoon. I stamped my own DP with random stamps that seemed to fit with the Geared Up Garage set. I had used this tire track BG before and liked it. It's just one strip of tire track that I stamped in several colors and in different directions. Then stamped the gears on another piece of white. Just did those in blue, but didn't like the BG being so white behind the gears. So I took a damp sponge and dabbed and dragged it lightly over the whole thing. Stamped the car and cut it out with an Oval die, sponged some yellow into the die after coloring the car with aqua painter and ink. drew a fine black line around the edge of the die and edged the oval in black ink as well. Stamped and fussy cut the sentiment. A great card, I think, to go to my SIL in June.

Thanks for sharing how you created the tire track background and the rescue technique for the gear panel. I love how this all came together for a strong muscle car birthday wish. Thanks for taking the double dare-this fold looks great in your garage!!
