I've made it myself a bit difficult, saw the sketch this morning and saw front flap but didn't check the tutorial (which I've already made once), so I've folded the navy blue double and cut off both sides, glude the left over middle on acetate so the acetate is only hold by the middle, added designer paper on the inside and on the front flap cut out a peacock from another sheet of this block, made the oval and die cut the birthday sentiment, finished by adding some sticker dots and lines.
The colors were as close as possible for yesterday's color challenge.

I know you love folds, Anita, and you have always a unique flair. I think the acetate is brilliant (shine as well as intellect) for an invisible stand to prop up this beautiful peacock to strut for a lovely birthday message. The subtle jewels give additional clues that this peacock is made of magic. Thank you for playing in the double dare fold challenge!

I live the repeated designs on the design paper that picks up the components of the peacock as well (feathers and tail span pattern). Nicely done, Anita!

Fabulous! I like your take on the sketch with the acetate front. Beautiful use of the challenge colors. Love the peacock and the feather paper. Wonderful card!

haha, I did the same method of getting the front flap the first time I made this card. this time I went to the tutorial and saw how easy it really is. I love your Peacock though. This card is just gorgeous!
