Linda is our hostess for the Watercolor Wednesday Challenge this week and she chose a lovely tutorial! I really enjoyed painting flute glasses! This was my 2nd attempt and I would love to go for a 3rd try sometime in the near future. I mention how my painting session was interrupted in my blog post today.
I decided to go for a little pinkish champagne, I am sure that doesn't surprise anyone! I really wanted to go for a big watercolor wash in the background but as I mention in my blog post, I had a total fail with that even though I have created watercolor splashes in the past. So with this try, I just went for splatter! This is going to go to my sister for her 36th Wedding Anniversary!
**we are still having a few problems so if you are looking for the WCW037 Gallery you can find it HERE.
For a link to the tutorial, you can find it in the comments right after the challenge post or you can click .

Angie and pink go hand in hand, right? I love the pink and the glasses are just perfect. I like the splatters and your little splash at the top. I wanted to do a splash background but thought I better leave it alone and not tempt disaster. LOL

Beautiful shape to your flutes, Angie, and I love the Pink champagne with all those effervescent bubbles! This card is a celebration just waiting to happen.

A fabulous anniversary card! I thought about going for pink champagne, but when I was choosing a marker, I fell in love with the "Jasmine" color. Your glasses came out fab!

Wait - I came by here this morning and was looking at your beautiful card so why I did not comment is beyond me. I came back to have another look as I so like the pink, and low and behold no comment! Your champagne glasses are beautiful Angela.
