Jenn's beautiful card and fabulous technique motivated me to finally use a new-to-me stamp set that has not been inked (by me) before today.
Changes: colors, cake in corner and sentiment at top, colored card base, used sequins
I started with colors in the SU! subtle group featuring purple for February's amethyst birthstone. I watercolored the flowers, leaves and cake stand with ink & an water brush, and left the cake white. Then I did a wash around the cake and under the sentiment with Pool Party. I see now that I could have done the wash darker. Added sequins, Gelly Roll stardust pen on the cake stand, the flower centers & around the edges with the help of a ruler, and put Wink of Stella on the cake.
Thanks Jen for sharing your amazing cards with us and for inspiring me to get out this stamp set today! Enjoy your week. Hugs!
