After a lot of hassle trying to slow the video so I could actually follow this beginners lesson (won't be trying anything harder!) I am quite pleased with my Winter's Walk scene. I need to find the right tape for securing my paper - first tape came up too easy and 2nd one I tried took the surface off. I, therefore, trimmed my image mounted onto some white pearlescent paper, then on black and then on a 5 x 7 card base.

Just beautiful, Janine! Your shadows look almost translucent and you did a fabulous job on that strolling couple. Love the pink & purple shadows in your sky behind the tree line, too.

Yes, you should be very pleased with this watercolor, Janine. It's awesome! Your people look great which was a hard thing for me. If you are still looking for tape, I love the Frog tape...does a good job.

You have much to be pleased about Janine, this is stunning and so well done. I love this painting.
Oh yuck with the tape taking the paper off. I don't know what you have in the UK but I will send you an Amazon link to the tape that I use via messenger, if that works for you. Normally if you search in the UK at Amazon you will see items similar.
Really enjoying all the watercoloured images that have been appearing! It is on my list for this year to give those a try - beginner watercolour videos. Thanks for sharing!!

Looks like you and Dave strolling through a snowy park :0)
Great job with the scene, Janine! I too had some trouble trying to slow down that video. He went way too fast!
