Here is my Kitchen Sink Challenge piece . I used a couple of textured wallpaper samplers. It reminded me of woven tapa so stayed with a beach theme. I wanted to use some rice - got out my roll of Press N Seal. Took a small square, and and on the sticky side up made an outline of a simple butterfly with white string. I spread jasmine rice in the wings and squeeze Crystal Effets glue all over it and place a lighter piece of textured wallpaper over it while the glue was still wet. When it had dried I turned it over and peeled off the Press N Seal. Tore the paper around the shape and with tiny scissors fringed the paper edges. I used texture crackle paste and a stencil from Echo Park called Stitched Quilting and an interesting sheet of perforated brown paper that came as packaging. The moment I saw it I snagged it for MM projects. (Stopping for a sip of coffee)
To complete the beachy feel - I got out my jar of shells collected along Kahala Beach while looking for diamonds. ..... after arranging them in clusters of three....I fashioned a string bow.
Not a masterpiece but maybe some points for earnest participation..... LOL
Have no idea how to post a picture here so will upload to my gallery for a limited time and put a link.

Bravo. Awesome. Fantastic. Love it SuZ. That butterfly and ooh that bow. I want to know how to make one. It’s amazing work and you knocked the challenge out of the ball park. TFS. Happy day

This is spectacular! I so LOVE the butterfly. I'm going to have to steal that idea. And I have a bunch of the brown paper. Of course, I saved it! Right?
