The meaning of Peacock in Native American culture is self-confidence, self esteem, dignity, refinement, knowledge, sexuality, pride and beauty. In some myths, in history, lore and legend, the peacock symbol carries omens of nobility, guidance, holiness, watchfulness and protection.

Beautiful card. Love the bg and the colors you chose to spotlight your delightful peacock image. And, I love the symbolism you shared. I knew some of it, but there is so much. Fabulous card for Cheryl both in looks and meaning. Great job!

What a lovely peacock image - you could imagine it making a lovely stained glass window. I really like all your layering of the blended backgrounds, and love the little white flowers in the top corner flourish.

I love this beautiful peacock stamp! You have made a great card for Cheryl. I had three big peacocks sheltering in my front flower bed yesterday. I live in Florida and we have had some cold weather (for us.)
They were huddled between my azaela bushes. I felt kinda sorry for them.
