After following Dina's tutorial, over-stamping the flowers for a two-toned effect, and attached the squares with Washi tape, I didn't want to cover the center so this frosted piece of glass did the trick. That led to the embossed sentiment and the vintage couple. FYI, I have a beautiful artisan kaleidoscope that I got in Jerome AZ. They used to have workshops there that taught the trade (would have loved that). I discovered that my left and right eye see colors completely differently. Probably a cataract from aging. I think it'll eventually need fixing, but it's really cool when peering into my Kaleidoscope.

I guess that normally when you look through both eyes they compensate. Interesting discovery. Your real kaleidoscope sounds lovely and your card is too. The washi tape holding the squares adds a great vintage look to suit the couple, and the frosted glass is beautiful.
