This is my 2nd card for CC829. I am your hostess this week and the color palette for this card is real red, black and very vanilla. Dessert Option is Valentine's.
For this card I used designer paper from the Stampin'-Up "timeless elegance" collection and colored the roses and a few of the leaves (mossy meadow neutral) with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I am really happy with how my coloring turned out.
The Love phrase is cut in real red cardstock as are the red hearts. To finish off this card, I added some vanilla & black ribbon and a bow. The heart center is a real red brad.
I hope you can play along with us this week. The colors are standard Valentine shades. So if you need a few more cards, this challenge is for you.

The roses fairly jump off this card! Your coloring is phenomenal, Mary! I love the little extra touches--the ribbon and that cute heart brad, and the Love die cut. What a beauty!

This is beautiful Mary... The roses look real! You did an outstanding job of coloring them! You've got a work of art here, but what can I say, you're an overachiever? Lol! TFS
