Hello and welcome to Tuesdayâs Color Challenge.
Our host is Mary and she gave us a choice this week. We can choose between Real Red, Basic Black, and Very Vanilla OR Poppy Parade, Petal Pink, and White. I love that we have a choice! Valentine Cards for dessert. Who can resist THIS dessert? Not me!
My card features inks from Concord & 9th and a fun stamp from PinkFresh Studio. The stamp is a pop-out nested Chevron stamp. To use it, you pop out individual pieces so that each piece can be a different color if you want. It was a bit of a learning curve trying to figure out the most efficient way to use it. It took some trial and error, but I eventually got the hang of it. It ended up being perfect for this challenge.
Poppy and Ballet Slipper dye inks from Concord & 9th sub for the SU colors. To make my card a Valentine, I die cut the word âlove.â Looks like a Valentine card to me! A few die cut flowers were added as embellishments.
I really enjoyed making this card and sharing it with you. Come play along!

Great card! I love the boldness of those stripes and what a neat idea - popping out sections of a stamp to change colors. I may need to look into that stamp. I love your design; the sentiment die and the few scattered flowers and hearts are just perfect.
