I'm happy to give this new technique a try, thanks, Sabrina. Because I don't love to color, I decided to try a different way to do this. Not sure I chose well but I was in the mood for GREEN! Well let's face it, I'm always in the mood for GREEN. I embossed the leaves with white ep and used two green sprays for color. Didn't seem to matter how I arranged them, it didn't look much like a kaleidoscope to me. So I stamped some solid leaves, embossed them in gold, fussy cut them out and arranged them in a pattern. I really love my new postage stamp dies and had to use them. I'm going to search my stamps a bit more carefully; I think a stamp where there is a focal point in the center corners would be good.

The dies are indeed lovely. I decided that something strong in the corner of the square helped add to the sense of movement when they were all rotated - but I didn't have a lot of stamps that seemed as if they would work, unless I went quite small and almost abstract with them. I think it always takes at least two goes at something to get the feel for it and what will work - and often more. But I really like your green leaves and the ones on top remind me of my dad's homemade kaleidoscope with dried flowers in it.

This is gorgeous. Like you I am always in the mood for green. I love the green and gold and it does make a lovely pattern. Maybe it's not strong in the kaleidoscope patterns but it surely is strong in beauty.

I'm in agreement with everyone else...this is a lovely combination of colors and patterns...I too, love postage stamp dies!
I can see a kaleidoscope pattern, and I think Sabrina's comment hits close as I've seen a dried flower kaleidoscope as well. I envision, in my mind's eye, that the gold leaves and white lines would shift with each turn into new patterns.
